No surprises on your invoice and no confusion about who has your keys.
This Service Agreement (“Agreement”) is made between Nik Nak Pet Care (“Pet Sitter”) and the undersigned client (“Client”) for the purpose of providing pet care services. By booking services, Client agrees to the terms and conditions outlined below.
A 50% non refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure Client’s dates. The remaining 50% balance is due 14 days prior to the start of service. If payment is not received by the due date, the reservation may be canceled, and the deposit forfeited.
For multi day drop ins and walks, or overnight pet sitting services booked within 14 days of the start date, payment is due in full at the time of booking and is non refundable.
Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled service will receive a full refund.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled service will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
For multi day walks or drop ins booked within 14 days of the start date, payment is due in full and non refundable.
Cancellations must be made at least 14 days prior to the start of service to receive a refund.
Cancellations made after this period are non refundable.
For pet sitting services booked within 14 days of the start date, payment is due in full and non refundable.
A standard mileage fee of $0.70 per mile will be applied to any service location beyond a 10 mile radius of the Pet Sitter’s base location.
Client agrees to provide accurate and up to date information about their pet(s), including health conditions, behavioral concerns, and emergency contacts.
Client will supply sufficient food, medications, and other necessary supplies for the duration of services.
Client must ensure safe and reliable access to the home (keys, codes, alarm instructions, etc.).
In the event of a medical emergency, Pet Sitter will make reasonable efforts to contact Client immediately.
If Client cannot be reached, Pet Sitter is authorized to seek veterinary care at the nearest available facility.
Client agrees to reimburse Pet Sitter for any veterinary expenses incurred, including transportation costs.
Pet Sitter will take all reasonable precautions to provide safe, responsible care. However, Pet Sitter cannot be held liable for:
Pet Sitter reserves the right to modify or shorten walks in the event of extreme weather conditions (excessive heat, storms, icy conditions, etc.) for the safety of both pets and sitter.
Client agrees to provide working keys, fobs, or access codes. Pet Sitter is not liable for malfunctioning locks, garage doors, or alarm systems.
If Pet Sitter is locked out due to faulty access, Client may be subject to additional fees.
Client grants permission for Pet Sitter to use photos or videos of their pet(s) for marketing purposes, unless Client provides written notice opting out.
